P-3 / Mk.2 VISOR
Given the problems encountered with the "standard" P-3 visor configuration, a trial was made by installing a Visor, Anti Glare Mk.2, which was normally fitted to Mk.1A helmets.
This new configuration for the P-3 enabled it to be used with Martin Baker ejection systems.
The result was satisfactory, and the new visor was then installed as standard configuration on the H-5 helmet, winner of the 1950 assessment.
