Although the “definitive” team logo applied to the Patrouille Suisse aircrafts in 1981, only during the 1987 season the accordingly decorated HGU-55 replaced the "Bleu Alpine" H-5s.

Despite the replacement of the Hawker Hunter with the red-white Northrop
F-5E Tiger II in 1995, this livery was in use until 2006, then replaced by the new red-white one.
