German Luftwaffe HGU-2 + MBU-5/P Oxygen Mask.

This helmet was used by JABO 33 (Fighter Bomber Wing 33) based in Buechel while flying the F-104G from the early '60 to the mid '70. It superseded the P-4 type helmet. The badge painted on the R/H side is the 1st Staffel badge.

The particular oxygen connector was made by Bendix and connected the standard helmet O2 hose to the Lockheed C-2 Ejection Seat connection system. The C-2 seat equipped the early German F-104Gs and was later replaced by the Martin-Baker Mk7 during the '70.
